AUTOMATIC DOORS
Automatic doors invite your client to come inside and provide ease of access for everyone including the elderly, handicapped and parents who have their hands full. There are three basic types of automatic doors, swinging, sliding and folding. Each have a variety of configurations and can be center-pivoted, offset hung, balanced or hinged, framed or frameless. FRAMELESS ENTRIES (PATCH FITTINGS):
AGS Commercial Glass design, fabricate and install customised frameless entries ideal for shop fronts, offices and building entrances to provide an unobstructed clear visual effect. Frameless entries have two options for fixing the glass to provide unimpeded views, rails or patch fittings. So what is the difference? Rails are attached along either the top or bottom of the panel and are sometimes used in conjunction with patch fittings and patch fittings are discretely placed in different locations on the panel (see diagram below for example).
